WHO WE ARE
Spore Door is a small grower of fresh gourmet mushrooms in Glen Iris, Victoria, trading under ABN 19 258 209 075. Contact us at hello@sporedoor.com.au or through the contact page.
WHAT WE SELL
- Fresh, whole blue oyster and lion's mane mushrooms, grown indoors and sold in 200 g punnets. Each punnet weighs at least 200 g.
- Spray-free: no pesticides, fungicides or chemical sprays are used at any stage. We're not certified organic and don't claim to be.
- Mushrooms are natural produce. Size, shape and colour vary from pick to pick. Photos show a typical pick, not your exact punnet.
- Cook all mushrooms before eating. If you've never eaten a particular mushroom, try a small amount first. Some people react to mushrooms they haven't had before.
- We sell food. We don't make claims about health or medicinal effects, and nothing we say should be read that way.
PRE-ORDERS
- A pre-order request is a request, not a sale. It becomes an order when we confirm it by text and you pay.
- Every pick is limited. We confirm in the order requests arrive. If a pick falls short, we'll tell you before you pay and offer a smaller order, the next pick, or nothing at all.
- The price is the one shown on the pre-order page when you sent your request, unless we tell you otherwise before you pay.
- You can cancel any time before you pay, at no cost. After paying, see the refund policy.
PAYMENT
- We send a secure payment link from our payment provider (card, Apple Pay or Google Pay), or PayID details. Prices are in Australian dollars. We aren't registered for GST, so no GST is charged.
- Card payments are processed by the provider. We never see or store your card details.
- Payment is due before collection or delivery. Unpaid orders may be released to the next person on the list once the pick window opens.
COLLECTION AND DELIVERY
See collection & delivery for where, when and what it costs. The mushrooms are in your care once collected, or once left where you asked.
OFFERS
- First delivery free: one free delivery per household, within the delivery area, on your first order.
- Free delivery over $25: based on the price of the mushrooms before any gift box, within the delivery area.
- The Pair: one 200 g blue oyster and one 200 g lion's mane at the listed price, while both species are available in the same pick.
- Come back for more: an extra 100 g of blue oyster on your second paid order, or lion's mane if there's no oyster in that pick.
- Tell a neighbour: when a new customer names you on their first order, and that order is paid, you both get an extra 100 g on your next order. A new customer is someone who hasn't ordered before and isn't in your household. No limit on how many neighbours you send us.
- Offers have no cash value, can't be exchanged, and can't be combined unless we say so. We may change or end an offer, but we'll always honour it on orders we've already confirmed.
YOUR RIGHTS
Our goods come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. See the refund policy for how we handle a problem.
CHANGES AND LAW
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
