PRIVACY
What we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
Last updated 6 November 2026
THE SHORT VERSION
We collect only what we need to tell you about a pick and to fill your order. We never sell or share it for marketing. There are no tracking cookies, ads or analytics on this site.
WHAT WE COLLECT
- The list: your mobile number or email, and where you signed up (for example, a café poster or a recipe card).
- Orders: your name, mobile, email if you give it, what you ordered, and your street address if you choose delivery. If you name the person who sent you, we record that too, to apply the tell-a-neighbour offer.
- Contact messages: whatever you choose to send us.
- Payments: handled by our payment provider. We see that you've paid and the amount, never your card details.
WHY
To message you about picks if you've asked us to, to confirm and fill your orders, to deliver, to apply offers, to answer you, and to keep the records the law requires.
MESSAGES
We only send pick messages if you've ticked the box to say yes. Every message identifies Spore Door and tells you how to stop. Reply STOP, or email us, and you're removed straight away. Order confirmations and payment links are sent because you asked for them.
WHERE IT GOES
- Forms on this site are relayed to our inbox by Web3Forms, a third-party form service, which may process them outside Australia.
- The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
- Your details are kept in our email and a private, password-protected list that only we can access.
- We share your details only with the payment provider (to take payment) or where the law requires it.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
List details stay until you unsubscribe. We delete delivery addresses 3 months after your last order. Order and payment records are kept for 5 years, because tax law requires it.
SEE, FIX OR DELETE YOUR DETAILS
Ask us at hello@sporedoor.com.au and we'll show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, except records we're legally required to keep. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
